My former student, Jonathan Macias, talks about how he uses accounting in real estate investing. He also shares how he overcame challenges and transformed himself from being a C student to an A student.

Jonathan attended Santa Monica College before transferring to San Diego State. He later obtained his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He has worked for a number of top firms such as Keller Williams and Edward Jones. Today, he is the CEO of his own real estate, development, investment, and operations firm called the Macias organization. He also teaches as an adjunct Business professor for both Santa Monica College and UCLA Extension.
